About
Emancipate

Action - Clarity - Responsibility - habit

Mark your calendars!  On Saturday, February 24th, we’re launching our first Danish Emancipate LIVE event and you are invited. It’s an immersive, full day live event where we’re sharing a road map drawn from cutting edge men’s work and ancient tribal sources that will accelerate your journey to embrace your potential and support your vision of becoming the person you were always meant to be.

Action - Clarity - Responsibility - Habit

As men, we are hardwired to look for solutions. We seek information to help us develop a process that we
hope will provide us with the desired outcome. Yet how many times have we found ourselves stranded in
“no mans land” with basket full of unfamiliar tools and too many instructions to make sense of anything.

It is often said that we men get caught up in trying to think ourselves out of challenges without really
understanding what types of locks are on the doors. In ancient times, The Maori of Aotearoa, New Zealand,
looked at challenges in a very simple way. We categories challenges based on how it would affect our
survival. In recent times, this was developed into a concept called Te Whare Tapa Whā or the four pillar of
us (our personal place to stand) which offered pathways that allowed us to work on challenges in a more
holistic and effective manner.

eMANcipate is built on these foundations understanding that for us to fully embrace our masculinity in an
authentic manner, we must identify and face the individual challenges that are creating blockages and fear,
pulling them from the subconscious darkness and bringing them into the conscious light.

This gathering is about ACTION. It is about understanding that even in times of great personal difficulty, we have the ability to De-amour and unthink our way out of emotionally claustrophobic places while sitting in a place of discomfort. There is no magic potion or secret formula, however, be prepared to test yourself and in a place where transparency will create familiarity and clarity for you. eMANcipate mirrors the ancient
process that has successfully allowed Maori and other indigenous people to survive and thrive over
centuries sustaining and empowering ritual practices and life-changing traditions.

The same processes have been the core of societies of our Nordic ancestors as well, for centuries of years far extending the timeline we live in today, where an unfortunate exaggerated focus on individualism has been taking us away from one of the most important health factors for a human to thrive. Community, tribe, and family.

In this process, we:

-Identify the challenges,

-Acknowledge how they affect us,

-Share these stories,

-Gather observations,

-Decide on a course of action,

-Commit and broadcast ownership of the decision.

Each phase incorporates elements of spirituality, mental and emotional health, physicality, and family/social
influences.

eMANcipate is solution-driven but focuses on empowering each individual’s journey through feedback,
direct collaboration and truth. As hosts, we provide the space, the tools, and the blueprint. The participant
fills the space with energy, chooses the appropriate tools, and where necessary rewrites and reinterprets
the blueprints to create a “kainga tuturu” or foundation standing place. It is this standing place that makes
eMANcipate so effective as when you stand together with a group of men who have transcended the same
confronting steps you have taken yourself, you are linked in what we call “whenua” or domain/strong roots
in your understanding of the emotional, spiritual, and physical necessities to take responsibility and
embrace change.

It is no surprise that Anders and I have created this gathering. Although we have different experiences of
sharing information into the men’s work, our wishes and desires to bring men back into their natural state
are a consequence of both of our own personal journeys. We have learned so much from each other and
through trial and error, found a process that we are fully engaged in as both hosts and participants. As
men, we all possess so many skills and experiences that when introduced into a supportive realm, in an
unpretentious and cradled manner commits everyone to each other and allows us all to be teachers as well
as pupils of this life lesson.

This is a full-day transformative experience connecting the powerful elements of ancient Maori warriors, and the wisdom of Scandinavian ancestry, with new life-changing tools in Men's Work. We have created this event to foster a space for introspection, personal growth, connection, and a collective journey toward transparency, empowerment, and self-discovery.

“Waiho i te toipoto, kaua i te toiroa”, Let us remain close together, not far apart.
